Where is the Foundation office located?
We are located inside of the Victoria Regional Hospital, directly to the left of the elevator at the end of the main hallway.
Why are we fundraising for our hospital? Why isn’t the government taking care of all of our equipment needs?
The provincial government, through the Ministry of Health does provide Health Region’s with some funding for equipment needs. Communities, including those in Prince Albert Parkland, have a long history of supporting health care services capital needs. This includes assisting the purchase of important equipment that allows physicians and staff members to provide quality, safe health care services. Community support is vital to fill the gaps when there are more equipment needs than funds available from the provincial government.
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm including the lunch hour.
Where does my money go?
The money that you donate to the Victoria Hospital Foundation stays in our hospital. We work directly with the hospital to purchase much needed medical equipment. If you would like your donation to go to a specific area in the hospital, please let us know.
